IIT has recently announced plans to build a new ‘Innovation Center’.
The center is planned to be a hub for interdisciplinary education where
faculty, students, business and industry develop and exchange ideas.
Using the methods, concepts & skill sets covered In the course students
were asked to develop a parametric design for the new IIT innovation center.
Students were encouraged to meet the University’s vision by designing
an iconic, innovative and bold building that represents the future of IIT.
Designs are conceptual with a focus on the overall exterior
massing, structure and building skin.
