36” x 16” 4mm rigid folded “Glide Reflection” .. the mountain and valley folds were cut on the IIT College of Architecture 3 Axis Precix CNC
using the CNC machine to cut fold lines into coroplast. i cut the valley folds on one side, then cut the mountain folds on the other.
the form is based on the folding technique ”glide reflection”… the creation workflow was rhino, grasshopper, kangaroo & weaverbird … it was fabricated by “flip milling” a block of 3” styrofoam
